Hello

Hello, I’m Fiona, the creative spirit and founder of Temerity Pots.

About Me

My passion for pottery began in later life, at an adult education night school, where my delight in moulding clay first took flight. Over the years, this passion has blossomed into a full-fledged love affair with clay and the art of hand-building.

I believe that pottery is more than just shaping clay; it’s about telling a story through every piece, capturing moments of inspiration from nature, and my surroundings, and sharing a part of myself with the world. Each piece I create is a reflection of my journey, infused with creativity, patience, and a touch of whimsy.

My Creations

Quirky

I love experimenting with different forms, textures, and glazes, which makes every piece distinct and full of character.

Playful

My style reflects my quirky, playful and eccentric nature, which I believe comes from my own unique, unusual and unconventional way of seeing the world around me!

Eccentric

Take your time exploring my collection, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to know more about a particular piece. I hope my creations bring as much joy to you as they do to me while making them!

What do you think?

Currently my work is only available to view at local craft fairs, or at the Pier Gallery, Arnside, Cumbria, LA5 0DA.

However, if you have something specific in mind, then please feel free to reach out to me and I would be delighted to discuss any projects with you. You can reach me at:
